I'm a bit refreshed after a blogging break.

I have to say Nickel and Dimes was one of my favourite books of a couple of years ago - I thought it was exceptional and it inspired me to read the "Aussie version" called Dirt Cheap by Elizabeth Wynhausen - which was also very good.

I am also currently working my way through all four seasons of The Good Life on dvd - I knew I'd love it just as much as did the first time I watched it.nutmeghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00338099206534716993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3123235165783760852.post-71327699112116729762007-10-16T14:24:00.000+11:002007-10-16T14:24:00.000+11:00What a beautiful post! The house it belonged to was long gone but it flowered gloriously every year with no water other than the rain and never being pruned. It was always a mass of flowers for months. It has now been cleared away , grubbed out by some earth moving machine to make way for the new buildings which will probably boast low maintenance gardens. In reality it was the most low maintenance rose I have ever seen.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06659929017085133209noreply@blogger.com
