I never thought I'd be the kind of mother who always told 'cute' stories about my kids but ...

... for every difficult moment there's ten of these:

Al: Do you want to come to the garage Lu?
Lu: Hmmm, I'll just check my emu. [pause as she enters and leaves the study]. It says that's okay.

That's way more than just a "cute story"--that's what so unreal and amazing about them!! I love it!

(Uh-oh--I better close the computer now--Martin is being chased by lions around the living room...)

I want an emu, too!

Well you know, those emus are pesky creatures.
Thank you for dropping by. Hugh F-W's life and adventures through The River Cottage have indeed spurred us to explore a massive tree change to start living our lives the way we want, not the way living in a big city dictates. It is all really quite exciting and daunting. All rolled into one.
