Maybe still a little tired

After many months - no, years - of not enough sleep things are finally getting a little better. Both girls have been pretty much sleeping through the night for a couple of months, and now it seems Al and I are learning how to do it as well.

But this morning I tried to open my office door with a banana. It didn't work. So I tried again.

It may be I haven't quite recovered from the three and a half years of sleep defecit. It may be we are all lucky I don't operate heavy machinery in my job.

My partner and I tried to talk last night about where we're going to plant various things in our garden over the next few months. Unfortunately this was rather unproductive as we were both calling everything by the wrong names. Difficult things like potatoes (not tomatoes) and tomatoes (not sunflowers). A friend has refused to drive until her kids learn to sleep, I think it's a really good idea.

SO true. I have to remind myself this is why I feel so tierd - kids. And remember a time of not feeling tierd.. THe greyhound is gorgeous (I am a bit obsessed with Sue5&2's dog.). Privately we call our little old dog a foster dog because he came from a previous owner and seems to has suffered much trauma from her and has lots of issues!!

my mum maintains that any parent with children under 6 should be barred from driving.
most days i agree with her, and am looking forward to the introduction of government sponsored chauffering (sp, sorry).

i am forever trying to put the kettle back into the fridge and the lid for the sugar jar onto the milk bottle.

some days we all leave the house wearing matching clothes too, because i am too tired to effectively wardrobe plan for individual needs.

I'll have to try the banana thing with the car.

Just make sure the banana's peeled, everybody. You'll have no luck without the skin on.
